To attain equitable and sustainable health outcomes and improve individuals' well-being, it is important to understand the interlinkages among the goals and between the targets for integrated governance and policy coherence in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The present study examines the linkage between SDG 3(health and well-being) and other SDGs in India and other developing countries using United Nations Statistics Divisions’ Sustainable Development Reports. Spearman’s correlation and Social Network Analysis were performed to capture the interactions between SDG 3 and other sustainable goals. Finding suggests SDG 1(No poverty) and SDG 3(health and well-being) have a synergetic relationship with most of the other goals. The strongest positive correlations are between SDG 3 with SDG 7(Affordable and clean energy), SDG 4(Quality education), SDG 1(No poverty) and SDG 11(Sustainable cities and communities). On the other hand, significant negative correlations have been seen between SDG 3 with Goal 12 (responsible consumption and production), Goal 15(Life on land) and Goal 13(Climate Action). Mapping of the network reveals the strongest individual positive connections within the network are between SDG 3 and the others. The study suggested more research and interlinked policies will be needed to achieve SDG 3 by 2030.
